Appetizers

Mini Corn Dogs

1 package mini hot dogs

1 cup cornmeal

1 cup flour

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp baking powder

1 cup milk

1 egg

oil for frying

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, sugar, and baking powder. 2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and egg. 3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined. 4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F. 5. Skewer each mini hot dog with a toothpick, leaving enough room to hold onto the end. 6. Dip each mini hot dog into the batter, coating evenly. 7. Carefully place the battered mini hot dogs into the hot oil, frying in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. 8. Remove the mini corn dogs from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. 9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Deviled Eggs

6 hard boiled eggs

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tsp mustard

1/2 tsp vinegar

salt and pepper to taste

paprika for garnish

1. Peel and slice the hard boiled eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a small bowl. 2. Add mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the egg yolks. Mix until well combined and smooth. 3. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. You can use a piping bag or simply spoon the mixture in. 4. Sprinkle the deviled eggs with paprika for garnish. 5. Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together. 6. Meatloaf

1 lb ground beef

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup ketchup

1/4 cup chopped onion

1 egg

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 lb ground beef, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1 beaten egg, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp pepper. 3.
